Create a Bobtail Load

Go to Carrier Operations → Loads → Dispatch.

Click the Create Load button and select either a non-revenue or revenue load. To create a revenue load from the dispatch tab, this must be enabled. The load type must be single in order to create a bobtail load.

Non-Revenue Load

On the load form, there is a toggle at the top right. Toggle it on to create a bobtail load. Enter in any additional information and the required fields marked with .  Click the Save button to create the load.

Revenue Load

On the new load form, there is a toggle at the top right. To view the steps to create a load, check the Create a New Load Entry article.

You can assign a bobtail load to an asset assignment without a trailer assigned. To check how to assign a load, check the Assign and Dispatch a Load article.
