Go to Carrier Operations → Load Management → Loads → Dispatch.
The default view is the Grid view, and this article explains the steps to utilize this view to dispatch loads. Calendar and Map Views are also available and are explained in separate Help articles. For information on the Calendar View, refer to this article. For information on the Map View, refer to this article.
The page is divided into two sections. The table on the left displays asset/equipment assignments. On the right are available loads or shipments.
Select up to 5 loads from the Loads/Shipments side for assignment. Once at least one load is selected, either click the button, or select the assignment by ticking the box then click the button. This will assign the selected load(s) to the selected asset assignment. A notification will be displayed upon successful assignment.
Assigned Loads
Click the button for an asset assignment to display assigned loads. The number inside this icon is the number of loads currently assigned.
To begin dispatching a load, click the button. A window will pop up displaying the Vendor, Dispatcher, Miles, and Trailer to assign. The Trailer field will be automatically filled with the assigned trailer if one was assigned prior to dispatch. Otherwise, the default trailer will be used instead. This trailer field is not required and may be emptied if the load has not been assigned a trailer yet.
Click the button to confirm. The load will have been dispatched and can be viewed in the Active tab of Loads.
Another window will appear with the prompt to send driver trip details.

To go back to the previous window, click the button. Click the button to send the trip details. A confirmation message will be displayed.
Trip details can also be sent to Samsara or Motive ELDs rather than via email. Sending to these ELD services does require an integration with the ELD provider and will incur additional charges. Please contact support@go-eka.com to learn more about the available integration options.
