- Enter FTP Host, FTP Username and FTP Password in the RMIS section in the Broker Setup Tab of Configurations
Standard Operating Process
- Carriers will need to be entered via the RMIS platform
- The EKA Omni TMS processor checks for and imports new carriers every 5 minutes
- All carrier updates should be managed through RMIS
- Existing carriers are reviewed on an ongoing basis for updates
- Exception management is available through the EKA platform in cases where a carrier’s status needs to be updated separately from RMIS
Things to Consider
- If you are migrating from an existing TMS that is already integrated with RMIS, it is best to set a cutover date to avoid complications in running the integration in both systems; work with the EKA Customer Success team to determine the correct plan and timing
