Trucker Tools Product Overview

The EKA Omni TMS integrates with Trucker Tools for load tracking and document upload.

Load Tracking

Load tracking will update Load Events and provide location updates (breadcrumbs) as the load moves. 

Load tracking can be initiated three different ways:

• Send load tracking requests to a driver’s mobile device on an individual load basis
• Send load tracking requests for the ELD in a carrier’s truck; this option requires an agreement between the carrier and the broker and is administered by Trucker Tools
• Carriers using the EKA Carrier Portal can initiate tracking for their own loads via the portal

Document Upload

Drivers can upload load documents directly to the load through the Trucker Tools app.

Things to Consider:

• This integration requires a direct agreement with Trucker Tools
• ELD Tracking requires additional setup with Trucker Tools and the carrier
• EKA Carrier Portal users will need to be given rights to initiate the tracking and will need to be trained on the process
• Load tracking and document upload success is dependent on driver compliance
