Setup Requirements
To set up your EFS Integration, go to Carrier Admin → Configurations → Finance. Locate the Money Codes and Fuel Cards section.
To connect to your EFS account, you will need to provide your User ID, Password, and EFS Contract ID. EFS requires that all IP addresses be whitelisted with them. Please contact the EKA Administrator with the list of IP addresses to provide to EFS when needed.
There are three additional configurations:
- Card Assigned To
- Sets which assets you will provide fuel card numbers and view information for. When editing the chosen asset(s), a new tab will be available called Fuel Card Info. See more about this tab below.
- Disable Fuel Card When
- Determines when to set a fuel card’s status to HOLD.
- Transaction Interval
- Sets how often fuel card transactions are synced. Currently, the only available option is 15 minutes.
Fuel Card Input and Info
To input fuel card numbers and view information, navigate to Assets. This page should be accessible to Carrier Operations, Carrier Admins, and Safety Managers.
Fuel card input will only be enabled for your configured assets from the Card Assigned To setting. Begin adding a new asset or editing an existing one then locate the fuel card number field. Input the fuel card number then save. The number will be validated with EFS and will not save if the number cannot be found.
After successfully inputting the fuel card number. Open the Fuel Card Info tab to view the most current information.
In this tab, you may edit certain information. Card transactions will be updated using the configured Transaction Interval. Card prompts will be updated as the asset picks up and delivers loads.
