To manually assign a carrier to a load, go to Load Management → Loads → Marketplace → Available Loads.
Search for the load, then click the icon at the end of the row to show the Assign Carrier option. Click Assign Carrier to proceed.
Use the Choose Carrier field to select a carrier to assign. Search for carriers by typing the name until the desired carrier appears in the search results, then click the name to select the carrier. The Booking Business Unit and Booking Rep defaults to the user performing the manual carrier assignment. Complete the remaining fields as desired. Click to submit the assignment. Click
to close the form without submitting any changes.
A confirmation window will open to confirm both Customer and Carrier prices. Additionally, equipment availability and other resource information may be filled in this form. These details can still be modified after the carrier assignment. Click to complete the carrier assignment or click
to return.
Once confirmed, the load will move from Available Loads to Active Loads. A new window will appear with the option to send a rate confirmation.
