An email offer can be pushed out to select carriers.
In the Carrier List, tick the box next to the carrier name. Enter the current offer price and click Email to initiate the email process.
A wizard will open to allow you to select which contact will be sent the offer.
New contacts can be added by going to the Add Carrier Contacts tab of the email wizard.
The added contacts will be available to send an offer. Go back to the Confirm Carriers tab to send the email.
When an email load offer is sent to the carrier, the recipient has several options:
- Accept or Reject the load offer and price by email and this will update the status of their negotiations; status of the negotiations will be updated accordingly
- If a user has access to the carrier portal, there is a link to Log In where they can Accept, Reject or offer their own price to accept the load; status of the negotiations will be updated accordingly
- The user can click the Contact Broker link to email the broker that submitted the offer in order to pursue any manual negotiations.
The carrier list will update to show that the carrier has an offer.
When load offers are emailed, the load will also post to the carrier’s EKA portal.
