Deactivate Carrier

To deactivate a Carrier login as a Broker Administrator and go to Administration → Carriers.

In the Active Carriers tab find the appropriate Carrier either using the Search box or navigating through the pages at the bottom of the table.

At the end of each row in the table is a column named Actions. Click on the  icon.

The Reason field is a custom input. Any reason can be entered here and is meant for your own records. All Reason codes are added to the database.

To complete the carrier deactivation, click the Deactivate button at the end of the form. Or press Cancel if you do not wish to continue with carrier deactivation.

The carrier record will update immediately in the application and the carrier will be moved to the Inactive Carriers tab.

NOTE: If RMIS is set as the Carrier Qualification Provider, carriers can only be deactivated through the RMIS process.
