To activate a Carrier after carrier onboarding or if the carrier is inactive, go to Administration → Carriers. Carriers can also be automatically activated. Contact EKA Admin to enable this setting.
Select either the New Carriers tab or the Inactive Carriers tab. To find the appropriate Carrier either use the Search box or navigate through the pages at the bottom of the table.
To activate a carrier, click the icon at the end of the load row.

Some of the form fields are required and are marked with the icon.
The Reason field is a custom input. Any reason can be entered here and is meant for your own records. All Reason codes are added to the database.
The Broker Carrier Ops and Broker Carrier Admin boxes allow you to assign particular Broker users to the Carrier. Begin typing the username and available options will start displaying in the dropdown menu.
A contract can be uploaded by clicking the Choose File button. Select the appropriate file to continue, the filename will then be updated under the button. Finish up by entering the Contract StartDate, and if needed a Contract End Date.
To complete the carrier activation, click Activate Carrier. Click Cancel to return to the carrier list.
The carrier record will update immediately in the application and the carrier will be moved to the Active Carriers tab and be available to assign to loads.
NOTE: If RMIS is selected in Broker Configurations, carriers cannot be activated through Administration. Carrier Activation can only be managed through RMIS.
