Security Features

Two new security features are being introduced to help protect your data.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication by email is now available. This feature is optional and will need to be enabled by an administrator. 

After users enter their password, an email with a verification code will be sent automatically.

Users will need to input the code to complete the login process. Verification codes are valid for 10 minutes.

If five wrong codes are entered, the account will be locked out for 15 minutes. Administrators have the authority to reset the lockout.

Session Expiry

Users will be logged out of the application after a defined number of hours with a maximum setting of 72 hours. 

Both of these security features can be set or updated in Administration → Configurations → Security.

Line Item Invoice - Send Via Email

Line Item Invoices can now be sent by email. In the Invoice list available in Delivered Loads and Finance, the email icon will show next to each line item invoice. Clicking on this will open the same email wizard used to send standard invoices with the same default recipient and distribution list.

Assigned Trailer Enhancements

When a trailer is assigned to a load prior to being assigned to a driver and truck, when that load is assigned to an asset assignment, the trailer will show as the default trailer. 

The dispatcher will not need to look for this information separately. That trailer assignment will persist through asset confirmation and dispatch. 

Control Center Search and Filter Updates

The search and filter functions have been enhanced for EKA Control Center AI.

• The search box will no longer be frozen while a search runs making typing in that box easier and more focused. 
• Active filter chips will stay on screen with a count of 0 when nothing matches so a "Nothing found" result always has a visible cause. 
• The placeholder now reads "Search this list by load #, customer, carrier or asset" to show that the search covers only the current list. 
• Searches and filters, roles and sorts order are now kept while you stay in the same browser tab, so returning after leaving the page no longer resets them.
