Carrier Fuel Surcharge Calculation

To set and update the Carrier Fuel Surcharge calculation, go to Carrier Admin → Configurations → Company. Carrier Fuel Surcharge can be set as a default for use in carrier cost calculations.

Select Cents Per Mile to set the type of calculation. Then select the Index Update Frequency to either weekly or monthly. The Price Index has many options to choose from with the default price index set to U.S. Enter the Peg Price and then the Escalator. Set optional Effective Date and Expiration Date.

Note that Shipper Fuel Surcharges are NOT set up within Broker Configuration but are set within the Shipper profile.
