Manual FSC Table CSV Upload

An upload function has been added to the Manual FSC Table setting. To update a customer’s FSC table, go to Administration → Customers/Shippers → Payments → Fuel Surcharge Calculation. 

Select Manual FSC Table as the Fuel Surcharge Type and click Edit Fuel Table to create a new table or edit the existing table. 

You will have the option to Download CSV Template, Upload CSV or manually add a Price Range.

The CSV Template requires From Cents Per Gallon, To Cents Per Gallon and Cents Per Mile.

When the template is ready, click Upload CSV and select the saved template.

The application will validate the ranges and provide notification of any errors.

Ranges that are incorrect will be open to edit. When all ranges are validated, click Save to complete the upload.

Rates can be manually updated within the existing ranges or new rates can be uploaded to replace the existing.

Default Miles

If miles cannot be calculated during load creation due to unverified addresses or distances less than one mile, the application will default the load miles to one.

While this will mostly apply to EDI-generated loads, the behavior extends to manually created loads as well.

Auto-Approve Load Events with Shipper Setting

A setting is now available at the Customer/Shipper level to auto-approve load events that are created from integrations - including subscriber to subscriber loads.

This setting can be applied in Administration → Customers/Shippers → Shipper Profile → Load Settings.

When this setting is applied, load events updated by integrations will automatically be approved rather than going through the Approval Queue.

This setting can be overridden at the load level if needed.

Updates to Badges

The insurance badges have been updated to display only when insurance has been purchased.

Rate Confirmation badges have been removed entirely from the Carrier TMS.

Public API Enhancements

Cash application for invoices can now be done through the EKA Public API. 

Trailer assignment to specific loads can now be done through the EKA Public API.

Bug Fixes

• Checks have been implemented to prevent multiple users from creating invoices simultaneously; users will be warned on screen if an invoice is already in process and will also receive an email when two invoice create requests are submitted at the same time
• Payment details for partially paid invoices will be recorded in the Receivables Status History
